Oklahoma Agritourism — Oklahoma’s Growing Adventure
Oklahoma Agritourism asked OPUBCO Communications Group to bid out a website redesign and print campaign for their organization.
The Oklahoma Agritourism site is divided into two sections: one for the traveler and one for the producer. Each has a separate look and feel. Oklahoma Agritourism wants to merge the two initiatives into one cohesive section. They also want to expand the new look and feel into print and direct mail.
As part of the bid, Oklahoma Agritourism tasked OPUBCO Communications Group with creating a sample campaign for a fictional event called “Agritourism Exposed — Oklahoma’s Growing Adventure.” It was to be designed to increase awareness of Agritourism in Oklahoma while encouraging online participation. The sample campaign included a print advertisement, a single landing page (see above), a direct mail piece and an on-site promotional item (an online banner ad).
The OPUBCO Communications Group design team put together a sample landing page specifically geared toward and focusing on Agritourism. This was accomplished with a visually “popping” background image to draw in the users and truly highlight agriculture in Oklahoma. As specifically requested, the landing page highlighted their three key initiatives for this “event”: land bounty, the western experience, as well as hunting and fishing.
The objective of this campaign is to work hand-in-hand with our proposed website redesign.
