Braum’s — Ice Cream and Dairy Stores
Braum’s primary objective is to have an attractive, user-friendly website that is interactive and informative.
Braum’s had a web presence that was outdated in appearance, structure and in the presentation of content. An opportunity existed to re-engineer the site to better reflect their rich history, the dairy farm and their three stores in one using the latest web technology.
OPUBCO Communications Group redesigned the website using a fun and bright layout. When you visit the site, there is a rotating banner on the homepage to highlight specific new items and products available in their stores. Across the bottom are three gateways to highlight what Braum’s believes are very important for their business: learning more about Braum’s, their three stores in one and the availability of careers at Braums’ stores, factories and dairy farm. Each key section has a slightly different template feel based on where you’re at. If you were to click on “Fresh Market”, the template has a slightly different appearance displaying items from their market and products. When you “Tour Braums” you are greated by one of the dairy cows peering at you from the side of the page.
Across the bottom of all pages, visitors are encouraged to network with Braum’s by joining them on Facebook, following them on Twitter and watching videos and commercials via YouTube. Within most all the pages, a user can also share the page on Facebook, Tweet about a particular page and even pin it to Pinterest.
We implemented a content management system called WordPress so that the company staff could update the website on a regular basis to keep the information current.
