OPUBCO Communications Group is looking for experienced Actionscript Programmers will be responsible for working with Designers and Developers to create next generation widgets, browser-based applications and desktop applications based on the Adobe Flash Platform. Positions are available for candidates with 2-5 years of programming experience.  Senior positions are available for candidates with 5-10 years of programming experience.  The ideal candidate will be well versed in AS 3.0 component architecture for either the Flash or Flex frameworks, and be able to apply OOP principles in practice.  Candidates with a strong background in the AS 2.0 component model and capable of ramping up to the AS 3.0 are also welcome.

These positions require:

• Experience programming with Actionscript 3.0
• Experience using Adobe's Flash component architecture to develop reusable, sharable controls
• Experience designing applications using an asynchronous data model
• Creative thinking and excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to define project requirements and tasks Professional work ethic
• High level of motivation and ability to work independently
• Team player attitude

Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

• FLEX and MXML
• SQLite
• JavaScript and the Actionscript / JavaScript External Interface methods
